It's Not About Me
You'd be surprised how many adcats today forget that. To them, your projects are like discovering a new sandbox to play in. Or winning the lottery.
They go nuts creating vacuous, hipper-than-thou logos, taglines, ads, billboards, radio spots -- well, you get the picture. Dreadful stuff. And a total waste of your money.
My copy is different. Because my attitude is different. I'm not here to make Bill Murphy look good. I'm here to make you look good. And the best way I know to do that is to help you sell your products and services.
I've been at this a long time - nearly 20 years, in fact. I hold a Master's degree in Communication. And, yes, I won an award from The Direct Marketing Association, St. Louis chapter. But that's only because my DM package pulled like a team of oxen and the cash registers sang their beautiful song. Simply put: I've been called one of the best in the business. In fact, I know my stuff so well that, from time to time, I'm called up to teach it at Grand Valley State University.
